Broken Spires – EP Artwork

I was approached by Audio Engineer/Composer/Electronic Producer Sam Hopgood to design a series of covers, two singles and an EP, for his new project, Broken Spires.

The idea was based around his first single, Twelve Letters, using a dodecagon as the basis of the cover.

I approached this cover like one would a music track: re-sampling stock images of postcard elements over and over, creating patterns from repeated geometric shapes and layering different noises over each other.
