McDonald’s B-Boy Royale

Event design and graphics package for McDonald’s New York Tri-State B-Boy Royale IV.

2017 was the fourth year running of the McDonald’s B-Boy Royale, created by IW Group for the local New York Tri-State McDonald’s account. We had B-boys and B-girls representing cities all over the USA, the battles were DJ’d by GrandMixer DXT, hosted by Laura Stylez and DJ Kast One from Hot 97, with notable judges Crazy Legs, B-Girl Macca & Gin and performances by Tre’ Da Kid and Dynamic Rockers. The whole event, at NYU Skirball Center for the Performing Arts, was a fundraiser for the Ronald McDonald House Charity, so of course, Ronald himself made an appearance.

As part of the production team, I co-designed the logo, developed the social and digital advertising, created all the on-screen graphics for the event and supervised the design of the stage and lighting.
