McDonald’s New York Tri-State Social Media Content

During my time as a Senior Content Producer at IW Group, I worked on a number of social media accounts. One of our major clients was the McDonald’s New York Tri-State account, for which we managed Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and their local website.

Along with my colleagues, we created monthly calendars of content that needed to balance the fun and playful nature of McDonald’s global identity while also speaking to the sensibility of the New York area clientele.

Our work was highly regarded by the McDonald’s Owner/Operators and our content was often taken by other McDonald’s local accounts for use on their social media platforms.

In a move to unify the company’s social media voice and part of a global rebrand, McDonald’s shut down all of its local accounts on all social platforms. The work that we created and the recognition we achieved helped to solidify IW Group as one of the multicultural agencies of record for McDonald’s USA.
